All of our family lawyers are fully qualified solicitors with many years of experience specialising in this field. They are all Accredited Specialists with Resolution, an organisation of family lawyers, whose members adhere to a code of conduct focusing on constructive discussions and negotiations in family disputes. Our family team has specialist accreditation covering advanced financial provision and pensions, children matters including private disputes between parents and other family members and in addition, representing parents in care proceedings.

Where appropriate, we will support the use of family mediation and we can make the necessary referrals to a local mediation service if required.

We understand that in every case where children are involved, it is essential to put them at the forefront of any consideration about settlement and we always encourage clients to reach an amicable agreement with their former partner about arrangements for the children where ever possible.

Fixed fees

We are able to offer a range of fixed-fee packages to suit your requirements where it is appropriate to your case and we will always advise you as to whether Legal Aid is available for your particular case or whether you may be exempt from any court fees.
